Richard Foxton

       Set Designer


       Richard Foxton has twice been nominated for the TMA design award and has won five
       Manchester Evening News Design Awards most recently, in 2008, for Oh, What A Lovely
       War! (Octagon Theatre, Bolton). He was a designer judge of the Linbury Prize and his design
       for Murderer Hope Of Womankind (Whitworth Art gallery) was exhibited at PQ. Rich-
       ard’s design credits include Blonde Bombshells of 1943 and Chicago (Coliseum Theatre,
       Oldham); Takeaway (Theatre Royal Stratford East); The Winter’s Tale, (Mercury Theatre,
       Colchester); And Then The Dark... (New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich); Ladies Day and Noises
       Off (Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool); The Picture Of Doreen Gray (Lipservice); On the Piste
       (John Godber Co. England Away); The Future Is Unwritten (Tour) in addition to designs
       for: Watford Palace Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse, West Yorkshire Playhouse, York Theatre
       Royal, Octagon Theatre, Bolton, Bath Theatre Royal, Sheffield Theatre, Harrogate Theatre,
       Hull Truck, Wakefield Theatre Royal, TAG Glasgow, North Country Theatre and Contact
